Hayley Hutchinson & Sam Forrest - CrimeFighters (Soundtrack From The Milestone Productions Motion Picture)
Hayley Hutchinson and Sam Forrest (Original Music for CrimeFighters) are also known as the Sorry Kisses, a group that unites Hutchinson's acclaimed work as a singer-songwriter with Forrest's time spent fronting the rock band Nine Black Alps.
After Miles Watts - CrimeFighters creator - produced a number of Sorry Kisses music videos, Hutchinson and Forrest set about paying back Watts the favour by creating a lavish and exhuberant soundtrack for CrimeFighters in their home studio.
Having previously written music for the Academy Award nominated film 'Surf's Up' and hit US TV series 'Grey's Anatomy', Hutchinson and Forrest musically articulated the emotional weight of 'CrimeFighters' with array of instrumentation including tribal drums, Danny Elfman-esque choirs and the lush string arrangements of John WIlliams.
It is their first experience of composing, performing and recording an entire soundtrack for a feature film and they did it all by themselves in a converted barn with a laptop computer and a huge amount of enthusiasm for the project.
